Check this guide to know how to connect to the BeCexy properly:
It should be connected like on this video
-
You are opening the BeCexy portal in Chrome (not in the Telegram browser, Instagram, Samsung Internet, Mises or other browsers — many of them do not support the WalletConnect feature).
-
If you live in a country where internet traffic might be restricted due to local or global regulations, make sure you are using a stable VPN (filter breaker).
- You have stable access to the Internet (the low/unstable Internet might cause breaking connection between BeCexy and Wigwam)
- You don't have Browser plugins that block/filter Web3 connections
- Remember: When connecting to BeCexy with Wigwam, you must sign two messages in the wallet — one for connection and one for approval. Sometimes, the second message may appear a minute or two after the first one. Just be patient and wait for it.
- Visit the BeCexy portal
- Go to the Airdrop tab
- Click 'Connect Wallet'
- Select 'WalletConnect'
- Choose 'Wigwam'
- Confirm Connection inside the Wigwam wallet
- Confirm Approval message inside the Wigwam wallet
- Return to the Becexy portal and you must see your wallet address.
it seems to be a random issue currently under investigation on the Web3Connect side. It may be related to a high volume of requests.
Please try the following steps a few times:
-
Return to the BeCexy portal.
-
Reload the BeCexy portal page.
-
Connect to Wigwam.
-
Confirm the first pop-up inside the wallet.
-
Confirm the second pop-up inside the wallet.
-
Return to the portal and check if the wallet is connected.
-
If the wallet is still not connected, repeat steps 1–6.
Since this appears to be a random bug, it may take a few attempts to successfully connect to the portal.
If you see something like this - it is also some issue with the network connection:
Please reload Becexy portal, quite and enter to the Wigwam app and try again or try you attempt latter. Double check that you conducted everything that we have described in the 1 and 2 sections of this tutorial.
In many cases, simply trying again a bit later resolves the issue.
It looks like you initiated a connection but didn't confirm the second approval message inside your wallet. You must remove the connection inside Wigwam and try connecting to BeCexy again. Check the sections 1 and 2 in this tutorial to do everything correctly.
Everything is ok, if you see your wallet address inside the BeCexy portal - it is enough.
It looks like it some Android bug with loading pages - check that all points in the first section of this tutorial, restart a wallet and try again.
Do have other bugs? Write to our support to check this issue. Use the Support button inside the app to send your message.
Sometimes it’s difficult to identify the specific issue causing a connection error in a separate device. We do our best to detect and fix everything possible on our side, but we can’t guarantee that the connection will work for all users on all devices. The issue might be related to the Android system, browser version, internet connection, the current state of the Solana blockchain, the Web3 Connect feature, or a combination of these factors.
For this reason, if you’ve tried everything and still can’t connect with Wigwam, we recommend trying other Solana wallets to see if you can connect with them. Start with mobile versions — if those don’t work, try using Phantom or other Solana browser extensions. They use different connection mechanisms and may be more stable in your case. The wallet choice doesn't impact on the BeCexy airdrop.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue working toward a better solutions in Web3.
