Issue with sending tokens to another wallet

Wigwam Wallet does not impose any limitations on sending tokens.
If you are experiencing issues, please make sure you have sufficient gas tokens to cover the transaction fees.

Why do I need to pay gas fees?

Wigwam is a self-custodial wallet, which means you manage your tokens directly and interact with the blockchain yourself. As a result, you are responsible for paying transaction fees (also known as gas fees).

What are gas fees?

Gas fees are small payments made in cryptocurrency to the blockchain network (not to the wallet provider). They compensate the miners or validators who process and secure your transaction. Without these fees, your transaction cannot be confirmed or recorded on the blockchain. For example, you need BNB to pay fees on the BNB chain, ETH for the Ethereum blockchain, SOl for the the Solana, etc.

Issues with the token contract address

In some cases, issues may also occur because a token’s smart contract was not created according to Web3 standards, which can prevent the wallet from reading its properties correctly.
