If you're having difficulty restoring your wallet backup from Google Drive in the Wigwam app, don’t worry — we’re here to help. Please follow the steps below to ensure everything is set up correctly.
Before proceeding, make sure of the following:
-
Google Account: Ensure you are signed in with the same Google account that was originally used to create your Wigwam account.
-
Backup Folder: Verify that the backup folder hasn’t been accidentally deleted. The backup folder should appear in your Google Drive and may be named "Portal" or "Wigwam".
-
Internet Connection: Confirm that you have a stable internet connection.
-
Also, check that your IP address isn’t being blocked by internet providers. If needed, try using a reliable VPN (filter breaker).
- Check that you have the latest version of the Wigwam app (visit store and check the updates)
If the basic checks are all correct and the issue persists, try the following steps:
-
Uninstall the Wigwam app from your device.
-
Reinstall the latest version of the app from the official app store.
-
During the setup process, select the option to restore your wallet from your existing Google Drive backup.
This process should restore your access to your original wallet.
If you've completed all of the above steps and are still unable to recover your wallet, please contact our support team. To assist you more efficiently, include the following information in your message:
